Background

Why should this institution exist? There are three reasons motivated from the following three questions that motivate the need for such an endeavor.
- What institution in the US can provide a PhD whereby the student can perform research related to the Bible and publish their work in the secular journals?
- What academic institution is developing the next generation of Christian faculty members in performing research in science and engineering that has a literal biblical .creationist. paradigm?
- The atheist evolutionists had a pro-active plan to place faculty members with the Darwinian religious paradigm into academic positions. What is the Christian response?
Our hope is that this institution will address these three questions in a profound manner. We are planning a highly networked group of researchers that can publish in the secular world and yet have a clear biblical frame of reference. We are planning to raise the next generation of scientists that work with the Lord as their research partner.
One may ask, why not just have a Christian University do what we are describing. Answer: The infrastructure already exists within secular institutions to facilitate what we are proposing. It would take too much time, effort, and money to develop such a graduate program. In John 17:15-16 Jesus told us that we will be in the world but not of the world.
