Schedule

Although most secular graduate programs can start in the fall or spring, the majority of students start in the fall of each year. As such, applications for Christian scientific research can start any time of the year.

  • September-February: Student solicitation for ACGR funding is marketed.
  • February: Deadline for student applicants for graduate school
  • March: Committee ranks and discusses student applications and tries to align student with faculty member and funding
  • April: Student applies to "aligned" graduate school with a particular faculty member
  • April: Committee notifies faculty member that student and funding will be coming through and that faculty member should be aware of student.s name to facilitate the process.
  • May: Evaluation if student is accepted in graduate school at particular institution. If student is accepted, faculty should contact student and committee. If student is not accepted, faculty member needs to contact the student and committee and committee and student should decide on alternative path.
  • May: Committee and faculty member need to secure the financial details for student.
  • July: Yearly Workshop for faculty, students, and committee members
  • August: Student starts graduate school
